Nabid IT ("We," "Us," "Our"), based in Hebron, Palestine, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, and safeguard your information when you use our Watad Accounting System ("Software"). This policy applies to both our locally installed Offline License and our cloud-hosted Online Subscription versions.
1. INFORMATION COLLECTION
The information we collect depends on the version of the Software you utilize.
For Offline License Users
We do not collect any personal, financial, or transactional data from you. The Software and all of your accounting data are stored strictly locally on your physical device. We have no access to, ownership of, or visibility over your database. We may only collect hardware-specific license activation details solely to validate and authenticate your offline license.
For Online Subscription Users
We collect the following categories of information:
- Personal Data: Information provided during registrations, such as your name, email address, company name, and official contact details.
- Financial Data: You enter your financial data, ledger entries, and invoices into the system as part of using the service. We act strictly as a hosting processor and do not access or audit this data unless explicitly requested by you for troubleshooting support or as legally compelled.
- Payment Data: We utilize third-party payment processors to handle subscriptions. We do not store or process your credit card details or payment credentials on our servers.
- Usage Data: We may collect non-identifiable usage patterns (such as login timestamps and features accessed) solely to analyze platform performance and improve our services.
- Mobile App Permissions: To provide core POS functionalities, the application requires access to the following:
- Bluetooth & Local Network: Used exclusively to discover, pair, and connect with thermal receipt printers for invoice printing.
- Camera: Used solely for scanning product barcodes to facilitate the sales process.
- Location Data: Collected to identify and verify the merchant's branch location during transactions. This data may be accessed in the background to ensure the integrity of financial records and background data synchronization between branches.
2. USE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We utilize the information we collect (primarily from Online Subscription users) to:
- Provide, operate, host, and maintain our Software.
- Process transactions and manage your cloud subscription.
- Send you essential technical notices, security patches, and support messages.
- Improve, optimize, and personalize the Software and Our service quality.
- Monitor and analyze platform usage trends.
3. DATA SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or operational data. We may only share information with:
- Service Providers: Verified third-party entities who perform essential infrastructure tasks on our behalf, such as payments processing and secure cloud data hosting.
- Legal Compliance: If strictly required to do so by applicable laws, or in response to a valid, binding judicial request from competent public authorities.
4. GOOGLE DRIVE INTEGRATION (BACKUP FUNCTIONALITY)
Our Software offers an optional feature that allows you to back up your accounting data and reports directly to your own Google Drive account. This feature is entirely user-initiated.
- Data Access: When you authorize this feature, our application gains the ability to create new files in your Google Drive. We only use this permission to upload backup files generated by you from within the Software.
- Data Use: We do not access, read, share, or view any of your other files on Google Drive. The functionality is strictly limited to uploading backups to a folder that you control.
- Data Storage: The backup files are stored in your Google Drive account under your ownership and are subject to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not keep a copy of these backup files on our servers.
Watad Accounting System use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. DATA SECURITY
We implement reasonable, appropriate, and industry-accepted administrative, technical, and physical security measures to safeguard your personal data and protect your cloud databases from unauthorized access or exposure. However, you acknowledge that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage can be guaranteed as 100% secure.
6. DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal registration information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes of this Privacy Policy and satisfy legal obligations. Following the expiration or termination of your subscription due to non-payment, your cloud database is securely retained on our servers for a maximum of thirty (30) days to allow for a data export request, after which the database and all linked assets are permanently and unrecoverably deleted.
7. YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS
You maintain the right to access, review, update, or request the deletion of your personal registration details. You can execute these actions within your account configurations or by submitting a formal request to our technical support desk.
